I wondered in all the twitters, blog, and such that is being sent to/from Steeler camp, I wanted to know if any one knows how CB Joe Burnett is doing on KR/PR?
How is he doing as a rookie CB?
any info would be great!!

According to the article on Steelfury.com, he is doing ok, nothing great, but also nothing bad as a CB, I havent heard anything about him as a KR/PR
hes playing well despite being one of the smaller guys out there, i dont know about returning but thats what he was brought in to do so i hope hes doing some good things there
I don't think they have been doing any actual return-drills yet have they?
When Tomlin was asked about Joe Burnett at his press conference today (8/11)...
Tomlin: "I’m excited about watching these guys perform inside stadiums. I feel very comfortable in terms of what we’re looking at out here at Latrobe in terms of guys naturally being able to settle under the ball as punt returners and kick returners. But you really don’t understand what you’re working with until you get those guys in some live action. We have some guys we’re excited about: Mike Wallace as a kick returner, Joe Burnett as a kick returner, Joe Burnett as a punt returner, and some other young guys. We’ll continue to work those guys and hopefully they’ll distinguish themselves."
Tomlin said today that Wallace, Burnett and Logan will return Punts/Kicks on Thursday. Wallace will handle kicks, Burnett will handle punts.
McDonald has been working with the punt return team as well...
I can't wait to see both Wallace and Burnett....I loved both picks......return men were needed big time on this team and both also can play a position...Wallace is ahead of schedule and really hasn't been bothered by being a rookie in training camp.....I have read that Burnett really has show promise as a corner and that is good news......He could be the future nickel back for this team.....
burnett is a definite contributor in the long run.. he can do many different things and he will most likely be a cap friendly type player - would like to see him for a while
this is good our special teams needed to be revamped and from sounds it has. I am looking forward to Wallace for one
I think Wallace is my new favorite. I think he has the potential to be big. Most likely not this year but, I think he could be a big time weapon for Big Ben for years to come.
