Steelers vs. Falcons (Wk. 7)
After the Steelers performance last weekend it's almost safe to say they might be back to form! Let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet though because it was only one game. The Steelers were clicking on all cylinders last weekend and that type of performance needs to carry over into this weekend when the Steelers face a tough running team in the Atlanta Falcons. Granted they have a quarterback who likes to run the ball, but the Steelers have a safety that will be on him like flies on... you know! You're probably asking what about their running back? That's fine too, because the Steelers have a deadly line backer group that is ready for the task and don't really give up much in that category statistically.
Early in the week there was a scare of potential threat at the game along with 6 other stadiums. Reports this morning indicate the plot was a hoax so hopefully everyone will be able to relax and enjoy the game. The Steelers will need to be relaxed and ready to stop a high powered running offense, but their offense can't play like it did 3 out of the last 4 weeks! Here are the keys for a Steelers victory:
- Stop the Falcons running game.
- Offensive Line needs to have a performance like last week, which was absolutely awesome!
- Hang on to the damn ball!
Porter and Reid will more than likely miss another week, that fine though because you couldn't tell they were missed last week because the Steelers pride themselves with depth and the replacements really stepped it up!
Join us this Sunday here in the gameday thread as we talk about the game and cheer our Steelers to a victory!!!! :tt02:
