Chiefs vs. Steelers (Wk. 6)
The Steelers look to snap a three-game losing streak this weekend when they host the Kansas City Chiefs. So far this year the Steelers have looked like everything but the defending Super Bowl Champions. Big Ben hasn't been so big and the offense has had to rely too much on the run, which can easily be stopped with 8 men in the box.
This week the Steelers said they are 0-0 and looking for their first victory of the season. Unfortunately, they are going to be without some key players like Porter and Reid. The Steelers recently resigned Chad Brown but is he even ready for a game situation? How is Najeh, the Steelers supposedly "big back", going to be with returning punts since Reid was injured in his first professional game? So many questions so few answers at this point, but when it comes down to it the only important question is... Can the Steelers turn their season around?
Keys for a Steelers victory:
- Ben must get out of his funk!
- The Defense must stay focused the entire game.
- Stop Larry Johnson both rushing and receiving because he leads the team in both categories.
Both teams are strapped with injuries. The Chiefs are without their starting QB and Johnson is recovering from a sore neck. The Steelers are going to miss Harrison and more than likely Joey Porter as reports this week indicated he will not be playing.
Join us this Sunday afternoon here in the gameday thread as we talk about the game and cheer our Steelers to a MUCH NEEDED victory!!!! :tt02:
