Most were SOPCAST or TVANTS. Not the best, but far better than nothing.
Is there a similar thread here on the SA forumes for the 2008 season?
Living in Las Vegas (NV), I only get every other or every third game. Listining to the audio isn't same without video.

Will stream video of games. Look for your team and it should show you a schedule and links to watch live streaming broadcast of the game.

Shows TV coverage distribution maps of each game from week to week.

Download the player, and live streaming broadcast of games can usually be found.

Last resort, if you can find a network broadcasting in the area of a game, you may be able to find it.

futher more: If you are from outsite the US, you can buy access to HD broadcast of all the games here: www.nfl.gamepass.com . I Bought it yesterday, and it is wonderful. It streams really well, and its in HD! For some reason it "struggled" in the middle of 4.Q, but i think that was because of my connection, not the NFL stream server.
