Scout.com's final mock draft
Scout.com has conducted it's final mock where sports writers from each team make the picks. For the Steelers Jim Wexell makes the pick and chose Jonathon Stewart RB, from Oregon. I think that pick makes a lot of sense. After signing Starks and picking up Hartwig, I don't think the O-line is top priority any more. I think they will still take an O-lineman but not until the second or third round. Here is how I think it might play out:
DAY 1
1. Jonathon Stewart RB (23)(projected-28)
2. Gosder Cherilus OT (53)(projected-54)
DAY 2
3. James Hardy WR (88)(projected-94)
4. Red Bryant DT (123)(projected-133)
5. Kendall Langford DE (156)(projected-190)
6. Jamie Silva S (188)(projected-206)
**the projected positions are from scout.com's draft list**
Every one of these players were on the list of players who the Steelers had in for visits.
