Tomlin "promised" more use of tight ends this season and delivered in the
first three games. Other than the first quarter against Arizona and the intercepted throw to Miller in the end zone, does anyone out there recall
utilization of the two and three tight end sets/plays in the second, third,
and fourth quarters? It sure was effective in the first three games and
since we couldn't run for ****, why didn't we employ more of the "tight end
connection"? Your thoughts/comments please?

The TE's action has been coming in spurts... I think the problem is it's been so successful that the coaches don't want to wear it out and they want to try and get other people involved and forget about the TE :dunno:

My question is where is the hurry up offense??? It seems to be effective but I've only seen it in the fourth quarter of the Cardinal game and because they were behind... Hurry up offense can really change the momentum of the game... quick too!

Enjoy yourself, post up, have fun and any questions let us know!

Welp couldn't really use the 3 tight end set in weeks 3 and 4 since Spaeth was banged up. He sat out in week 3 and I believe he was doubtful. Probably still resting him since it was his quadericep that was bothering him. Hopefully after the bye week we will use the 2 and 3 tight end sets. Must say thou good way of getting out of introing yourself was to ask a question. Well howdy hope to see you around.

Dear All, Sun 8/31 9:17pm

Due to the Steeler offensive line being offensive, we'll be furtunate to go 8-8 this
year. Tell me why I'm wrong.

yeah it sure is, just a few weeks more than its a full year old haha. Jack you seem pretty doom and gloom about our chances this year. 8-8 really? i for one believe the OL will be improved over last year. we replaced our weakest link (the bum Mahan) and i dont think AF was playing up to par last year because he knew he was going to be playing somewhere else next year. add on top of that Ben dumping more off and throwing a way a few more and we are in good shape. :yellowthumb:
