12-4 at best, but probably 11-5 and 1st in the division with the ravens finishing 2nd at 9-7, the Bungals 6-10 and the stains 4-12:yesnod:

I can't vote because I don't see 7-9:dunno: Not that we couldn't do better but we just have alot of unknown factors:yesnod:

11-5 sounds about right. Can't believe a Steeler fan would admit to expecting a 7-9 season.

The great thing about a new season is all teams start off in first place. Until our team gives me reason to be a pessimist, I will continue to be an optimist.

I am not sure that we are ready to break in with the top 3 (Chargers, Patriots & Colts) but we are not that far behind those teams IMO.

Steelers go 10 - 6 or better

11-5 sounds about right too. That should be enough to win the division or atleast enough to contend for a playoff spot. The AFCN is all about beating each other up all year long so no matter how you get into the playoffs you'll be battle tested here in the AFC black n blue division.

12-4. Hell, maybe we'll even go 15-1 again! I really think the players are going to have a huge chip on their shoulder, like in 2004, and we all know how the Steelers play when everyone is counting them out.

I dont see how we could possibly go 7-9, cmon last year was terrible and I dont think there is any way we do worse than that. I think we'll prove to everyone we are the class of our division and very possibly the class of the AFC.:cope::cope::tt02::tt02:

Before the game Monday night, I'd of agreed with this but the Bungles and Ravens records may be reversed.....:crossfingers:

We'll see what happens, but Carson didn't look really that great, at least he missed alot of easy throws, but looking at this game I'm pretty confident that we'll have a pretty good shot at winning the division:tt02:

I'm hoping at least 11-5, but realistically I went with 10-6 which I believe will be enough to win the division!

Um that would give us 6... lol!!! In all seriousness, i think 11-5 is a safe bet with are schedule. We should start 5-0.
Teams like seattle and StL are over-rated because they spend the year beatin on teams in their weak divisions. We should sweep 2-3 teams in our division and split w/ the other, that should give us a AFCN crown. The broncos are still a few years away from being a contender again, the jags (who usually give us fits) arent the team they used to be, and the jets really dont match up with us no matter how much they have improved. The rest of our schedule is a bunch of familiar faces so there are no suprises. W/ no Indy, SD or chicago on the schedule we are avoiding 3 legitimate SB contenders leaving NE as the lone contender on our schedule. So 14-2 is def achievable, hell the bolts did it last year and now everyone is writing them into the SB. We have been delt a general lack of respect form the media this season which always fuels the steelers... i lik the look of this season alot!!

For the first time in 15 seasons Bill Cowher won't be pacing the Pittsburgh sideline. Cowher won eight division titles and a Super Bowl as a head Steeler. His handsome mug will surely be missed.
Steelers 6-10

We could easily start off 4-0 or 5-0. Then the schedule gets very tough for a month or so. I like 11-5, but we really need to get these first 4 or 5 wins under our belts. These are games we cannot afford to lose, given the tough schedule ahead

Looks like my prediction was right on! Damn I must know my Steelers!

My confession though is that after the first three games I thought we would end up better than 11-5. I would have predicted wins over Den,Ari, and NYJ.

I think most of us would have agreed with wins over atleast the Jets and Denver but I was alittle worried about that Cards game becuase of how fired up Whiz would have that team to play us. Looking back now at those games there was no excuse to lose to the Jets or Broncos. The Cards game doesn't bother me near as much as the other 2 do though.
