My local paper ran a story, unsure if it was Associated Press, making predictions for the upcoming season. They went thru each division and each team. For the Steelers they predicted that the team should be much better as a result of Ben being healthy and returning to form. They then predicted us to go 7-9. How is 7-9 better than 8-8? Don't editors proof read anymore? I do prefer low expectations though. :towel: :gs:

i honestly see us going either 10-6 or 11-5! we have one of if not the best defenses in the league, as always! special teams looks much better this year( no more muffed punts hopefully with rossum, and no more 30 yard punts, GO SEPULVEDA) and IF the oline can keep ben off his @$$ then we'll have one of the best offenses too!! WE CAN DO THIS STEELERS!!! LETS BE THE FIRST TO 500 AND THE FIRST TO SIX!!!

Damn...I am so ready for football and for our team to prove all the haters wrong. I love when they all talk crap...it just gives our guys more reasons to win.

I'd rather go 6-10 than to lose to Baltimore TWICE in the same season AGAIN (especially bein two years straight). If we were embarrassed last year, can you even imagine if it were to happen two years runnin?? :nono:
Sorry Ambridge, but I refuse to allow it :D

Oh--and we HAVE to beat Seattle as well :bigthumb:

I don't think I see us losing 3 in a row this year. That stretch in the middle we'll probably lose 1 of them. No way we get swept by the rats man, comon !

I was calling for us to go 10-6, that's a reasonable idea IMO, and if we can pull off 1 more win we can be 11-5 and right in the middle of the playoff race.

I do not like making predictions. But I find it amusing that we are being counted before we get on the field. Man some of these experts are going to be in for shock. :tt02:

if we lose 4 in a row we won't get close to .500 on the season we'll be like 6-10 if we lose 4 in a row........ if we lose sunday we might as well go 0-16 cause that will be the fork in the season
