This kid was well worth the pick if no one noticed every time he's punted the offense has to drive atleast 80 yards. Guaranted field position like that gives Lebeau all times of options. We almost saw that 4.4 saturday, when that extra point blocked Sep was about to run down the guy who recovered it even after some one hit him. Hell he looks like what a Steeler punter should look like.:tt02:

I'm predicting that a couple of times, this season, on 4th and 3 or less yards, Tomlin will give D-Sep the go ahead to tuck the ball and run.:bigthumb:

Yeah and he could do it too! That's why i'm glad that he's the holder too.

Yeah Extra point and pitch it to Sepuvelda with his blazing speed he can turn the corner and walk in for 2 points or he can just bash it up the middle I hope I see at least ONE Sepulveda fake.

Well we have a history of trick plays so well probably see it at lest 2-3 times in the regular season, 2-3 times in the playoffs, and once in the Superbowl:tt02::tt02:

So far in the preseason, he has 8 punts with 5 inside the 20, with a 45.1 average. The return average on his punts is 5.2 yards. Most definitely a 5 star upgrade at punter.

Imho as worthless as they seem preseason games are probably most important to the special teams anyway, I'm not sure when punters are supposed to be in their prime but if Sepulveda is this good now, I wonder what he'll be like in the next 4-5 seasons?

Hell yeah it is, this kid needs all the experience he can get and so far he's showing that he's worth every bit of the 4th round pick we used on him. Our defense will love not having to defend a short field all the time with this kid kicking !

ok, now heres a serious question.....what kind of deal did we make with jacksonville to have them take Adam Podlesh with the second pick of the 4th round?

look at his resume, it sucks lol

Most teams don't take a punter in the 4th round no matter how good he is  We just finally wised up and realized Gardocki's best years were behind him and the best punter in the draft wasn't going to last till the 6th or 7th round so we better take him while the taking was good.

K Train

but we took a punting machine, jacksonville had a shot at him and passed on him for the little dude with the ****** resume lol

I agree well worth the pick I just hope we never have to use the franchise tag on the punter some day HaHA

I'm right with you! I was happy as hell when they drafted him. I knew then we'd have good field position, and an extra tackler on special teams if some one breaks one.

I can see him running for more than a couple first downs this year.
