Thanks to all the Steerlers fans who helped. It is greatly appreciated.
The Poll is now up, and will be so for 5 days. Please select only the ones you agree with as truly being what makes the Steelers go.
When I finish the sig, I will surely post it here first, to make sure you all are ok with it, cause ya'll are the ones who matter most. If its not ok by Steeler fans, why should it be ok for anyone else?

Thanks again!

basically, every single page i went to, i got the answer "the fans". of course the fans are a major part, so i just eliminated that aspect. fans will be incorporated if the terrible towel is part, i'm sure, but if everyone says fan on every site, the series gets old quick...

I voted for the Chief. Thats a tough poll because the franchise is so rich with tradition and HOF players. But I think all of those things have been made possible by Art Rooney Sr. who bought the team 75 years ago and always tried to impart to the city of Pittsburgh that this is our team! The Rooney family love 2 things and I am greatful for both of their loves, the city of Pittsburgh and Steeler football. Many other owners more in love with dollars (Al Davis) have betrayed their fan base many times. Pittsburgh is among the NFL's smallest cities that host an NFL franchise. The Rooneys have stayed loyal to the greatest fans in the world and those are the hard working blue collar people of Western Pennsylvania. I know that Dan Rooney shares his fathers love of the city of Pittsburgh and I hope the Art Jr. will stay as loyal to the city as his father and grandfather have.

Voted for the Towel,,,,,,,,,,,,,:tt02::tt02::tt02::tt02:

Simply put the fans make the team go !

IMO we back our team better then any other fan in any sport :tt02:

The team feeds off us & we feed off them :popcorn:

Bu my favorite part of the game is to watch our "D" make a sack,big hit,int
:blah::blah::blah:
Always have loved watching our Defense :banana: :tt02: :cabbagepatch:

Being that fans are detered from excessive cheering during offensive series, the Heart of the Game comes out during defensive series. That's when fans come alive and that's what inspires.

The Steel Curtain was one of the greatest defenses in league history.

Besides, a smack-you-in-the-mouth defense is what inspires me.

as i said, the fans will inevitably be incorporated, as that's an answer everyone gives. i mean, other than jim brown, the fans are all the browns have...so, if you can vote for a heart of the team that has been created outside of the fans, it would be highly appreciated.

I didnt vote either. I think alot of people gave their opinion on the first thread of what we thought should be incorporated. If there were too many just decide the few out of popularity. If they all seem important include them all. We are RICH in history and FAITH we have for our teim. GO BLACK AND GOLD

I had to vote for the Steel Curtain. That is what gave this team it's attitude. Every player on D since then has tried to live up to that D and it has only made players and the team better.
