Wallpapers?

Hey all. I wanted to start trying to make wallpapers and was wondering what the basics were. Also if you had any pointers? Thanks guys.

Meh.. I haven't done one in a looooooooooong time. But I usually browse some good gfx sites for ideas and what-nots. WCX is probably the ultimate wall site.

Walls are hard to pull off and WCX has some pretty harsh critics, but worth it if you want feedback. No real 'starting' points, just get an idea in your noggin and translate that in PS.

ha, I wish I could make one 1/10th as good as some of those. Are you looking at the ones from the main site? Or the forum?
