In the chart below, I've done a ranking of the 32 projected starters using combined 2005 and 2006 stats, just to give you a baseline of what each player has done the last couple of seasons. I used that as a partial barometer of his 2007 success.

1. P. Manning
2. T. Brady
3. D. Brees
4. C. Palmer
5. M. Bulger
6. M. Hasselbeck
7. V. Young
8. P. Rivers
9. J. Kitna
10. J. Cutler
11. T. Romo
12. D. McNabb
13. S. McNair
14. B. Favre
15. C. Pennington
16. J. Delhomme
17. B. Roethlisberger
18. M. Leinart
19. M. Schaub
20. J.P. Losman
21. M. Vick
22. J. Garcia
23. E. Manning
24. T. Green
25. A. Smith
26. J. Campbell
27. R. Grossman
28. B. Leftwich
29. J. McCown
30. T. Jackson
31. C. Frye
32. B. Croyle

IMO I think he's wrong about Big Ben :cursin:
He should be 9th or 10th at least,,,,,,,,Young ranked 7th,you gotta be kidding me!

STEELERS FANS WILL NOT SOON FORGIVE MY DISS OF BIG BEN. From Brandon Schwab of Pittsburgh: "You're a moron. Have you forgotten about The Accident? The accident that will forever be burned in every Steelers fan's memory? Yes, people everywhere remember that day and its significance. He was phenomenal his first two years; need I remind you he was the youngest QB ever to lead his team to and win the Super Bowl? Not Manning, not Brady, not Elway, not Favre, not Montana, not Young. Those guys obviously are so much better than Big Ben up to this point and probably always will be, but come on, don't let one horrible year after a life-threatening accident force you to call him 'inconsistent.' Don't forget, he's only going into his fourth year, and he was rock-solid his first two years.''

Young,Kitna,McNair, Favre,Cutler,Romo,Pennington and Delhomme all ahead of Big Ben could be questioned.....

Kitna is just a bum and thats just retarded why he is ahead of Big Ben....I know he has that WR core.....But come on.....lol

Young,Cutler and Romo don't even have a full 16 starts under their belts yet.....But all do have bright futures....

Favre and McNair are at the end of their careers and at anytime could have a serious decline in play...

Pennington has a noodle arm....lol He is a good QB but the injuries really have taken a toll on his arm.....

Delhomme might not even finish the year as the starter.....

I know Ben has his own questions to answer heading into 2007....But really he has as much upside as any QB in the NFL and if fully healthy has the potential to be a top five NFL QB......

I'm a huge Cowboys fan, and I do believe that in a year or two Romo will be a Top 8 QB in the league......but Big Ben's got a ring......I think you might have been a bit tough on the guy. Now, when it comes to riding 'bikes....well, he's got a lot to learn (J/K!).....but as a QB, he's top 12 in my book.

Kitna is not a glamorous name but he was 4th in yards last year with two 1000 yard WR's. His problem was that stat of who catches the ball when it's in the endzone and when the other team comes down with it.

Ben, like the Steelers are getting a little less respect because of last season. I understand that is hard for the Steeler fan to take but just look how much fun it will be to rub their nose in it after the season gets rolling.

That dude is nuts you cant put Jon "the waterhead" Kitna above Ben.

I loved what Porter said about him in that play off game something like "you know Jon Kitna aint going to beat us":willybs:

Jon Kinta had over 4,000 yards passing
Ben should prolly be around 13 but Jay Culter at 10:willybs:

Passing yards don't mean crap. Big Ben will probably never be in the top 10 in yards but I don't really care. As long as he does what he needs to do to win games is all that matters. Don't turn the ball over. Make plays when you need to. ETC.
That means more than just yards.

Thank you glad I didnt have to defend that......Around here we still call him Johny the water head:clap: So I guess the folks in love with 4000 yards passing would trade Ben for him...? Pick up old Kitna on your FF team this year he will take you far.

Guys that should not be Top 10 period-Hasselbeck,he just lost his best reciever in Jackson and hes overrated anyway. And Kitna, need I say more?.

Guys that should not be there but could be in the future-Young, Rivers and Cutler. Personally I'd take Leinart over Cutler though.:2cents:
