View Full Version : The Steeler, IMO Have A Problem, Should Anyone Get Hurt

:nono: They are all well and good when everyone is healthy, but an injury or two could really prove to be problematic. Perhaps if they'd chosen a decent back early on day two of the draft Staley would have been expendable, perhaps if they had committed to the front seven on defense they wouldn't be so thin. I'd rather have the guy starting in New England on my team than Willie
Colon. What's going to happen if this team gets banged up? We've all just got to hope that they stay healthy but injuries are a way of life
in this league.

Starters DL:
Hampton, Smith, Keisel

Backup DL:
Rodney Bailey, Chris Hoke, Travis Kirschke

Chris Hoke did great last year for us when Hampton went down. Rodney came back to the team after leaving for the Pats and has good power. Travis is strong and has good moves.

I think our DL is in pretty good shape, but depth will need to be address soon if for no other reason than to just mix it up and keep people on their toes

Porter, Gildon, Farrior, Foote

James Harrison, Arnold Harrison, Rian Wallace, Clint Kriedwalt.

Obviously our starters kick ***. Outside backups with the Harrisons are fine too, James could start for alot of teams and Arnold had an outstanding camp. Inside is what worries me alittle though; Rian Wallace is starting to come into his own and make some noise which is good. Clint is a ST demon, but just doesnt do as well on the field as a MLB. That's an area we'll need to look at and I wish we'd have addressed more in the draft.

As far as the RB's go, I agree we woulda-coulda-shoulda drafted a big time back on Day 1 or atleast a better prospect on day 2 because if something to Willie, Verron, or Duce...we are in seriouse trouble depth wise.
