On Sportscenter they listed the top 5 QB Tandems in the league, they did not include brady and manning as the two of them are never out.

5. Alex Smith, Trent Dilfer (49ers)
4. Matt Leinert, Kurt Warner (Cardinals)
3. Ben Rothlisberger, Charlie Batch (Steelers)
2. Jake Delhomme, David Carr (Panthers)
1. Marc Bulger, Gus Frerotte (Rams)

What are your thoughts on this?

I expected to see Byron Leftwhich and Davad Garad (Jaguars) in there somewhere

I would've thought Ben and Charlie would've been higher on the list...

Bulger and Frerotte at number is joke... I would slide them to the bottom move everyone else up one, except I would remove Leinert and Warner completely and throw in the Leftwhich and Garad. Garad carried that team 2 years ago to the playoffs only to have Leftwhich come back and ruin any momentum they had.

Ben and Charlie is a heck of a combo, just because of all the experience Charlie has as a starter! But, with Carolina picking up Carr they now have to be the best combo in the league. The only problem Carr had at Texas was he had no line! If Jake goes down Carolina probably gets better with Carr in the lineup :imho:

Are you kidding me? Dilweed? He couldn't QB is way out of pop warner.

Ben/Batch and Byron/Garrad are the only ones I'd bother considering putting in a list like that. They're the only combo who have done anything over the past 3 years.

Carr will be a good QB at Carolina, there has been talk that he might even win the starting job over Delhomme, if Jake plays this year like he did last year he will be riding the pine before the season is 1/2 over.

I am keeping a keen eye on Carr's progress when he hits Training Camp at Carolina. I am darn sure this kid is going to blossom into the real threat he was suppose to be.

Ben/Charlie is a great duo as well as Leftwich/Gerrald. I hate Leftwich and the Jags need to cut his *** out of there.

leftwich is really terrible and garrard was way overhyped and didnt live up to it last year...both are mediocre

Ok Leinart and Warner at number 2? I have no problems with Matt, but Kurt Warner is done and washed up. Noway they should be at 2.

Romo (2006 Pro Bowler) and Brad Johnson must have been #6.

I have no problem with Leinart/Warner. They're better than Smith/Dilfer. I like Bulger/Frerotte too, but not at #1.

In a couple years, I'd say Brees/Palko will deserve a spot on this list.

I gotta admit, if were talking about backups and starters working, The Jags and Pitt would be hard contet for the top spot, Pitt probably edging it. Ben is just too good.

What? No Grossman/Griese? Just kidding.

I'm not sure that Alex Smith has shown enough of anything to be considered #1 anywhere.

I think Carr is better than delhomme, Ive always thought jake has been overrated. As for Romo and Johnson they should be on the list. Johnson is still productive and Romo looked pretty good last season, hard to say how he will do next year though:scratch:
