Is Hi Tops a chain or is it just in Pittsburgh? When I came to a game last year we stopped by one on the way to Doms tailgate it was pretty cool:cope: :tt02:

Its a quasi chain. There is one next to Wrigley Field in Chicago and one next to the BOB in Arizona.

Everytime I go to Pittsburgh, I have had Hi Tops on my list to visit, after all these years, I have still never made it. LOL How many years has it been in Pittsburgh? I remember Rod Woodson's bar, it was awesome! Then Philthy McNastys, they went bankrupt but those were the Saturday night meeting places!~ In fact, I think <correct me if I am wrong>
Philthy McNastys was Rod Woodson's old bar.

Hi Tops is way cool and always packed...atleast when I've been there. My wife and I went to Philthy McNastys once there at Station Square, then we came back to Pittsburgh a few months after that and it was gone :(

Yea Philthy's went bankrupt. A member of my club worked there (while going to Pitt) so when we were in Pittsburgh for our annual tailgate, we went there. Then Josh told me they went bankrupt. AgentJosh he is a member here too.

That sucks cause they are doing quite well in ontario. Shame they could not make it in Pittsburgh.

Hi-Topps is okay, but they just opened another bar in the Equitable Gas Building, McFadden's. Philly you should know something about that bar.

McFadden? Another overpriced Irish theme bar with crappy beer.
