If that isn't a beautiful piece of art, I don't know what is. I would love to see that jet in Cleveland at Hopkins Airport.

I would not mind that view, Okie. LOL. It is a beautiful work of art. I could stare at that jet all day at Hopkins. That would be a millionaires dream to have a private jet made Steelers Style.

Not sure, but I think it's ateam jet. Maybe they would use it for commercial also. Guess they would have to, would cost too much just to use it 10 times ayear.

If they use that commerically, I will definitely want to fly on that jet before my life is over as a goal.

US Airways planning Steelers-themed airplane

PITTSBURGH (AP) US Airways is taking its support of the Pittsburgh Steelers to new heights.

The airline is partnering with the football team on a Steelers-themed jet. The aircraft, to be used on commercial flights, will be painted with the team's logo and black-and-gold colors later this year.

As part of the partnership, US Airways will sponsor some signs at Heinz Field as well as some tailgate parties before games.

US Airways, which used to use Pittsburgh International Airport as a major hub, has been based in Tempe, Ariz., since merging with America West in 2005. The carrier still uses Pittsburgh as a "focus city," or secondary hub.

US Airways has similar promotional partnerships and NFL-themed planes with the Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals, both teams in major US Airways markets.

A Carolina Panthers plane is also in the works. The airline has a hub in Charlotte

Wonder if I could get a direct flight from Indy? It wouldn't be as funny as seeing the plane in Cleveland or Cincy, but it would still be a sight.

Maybe we can charter it for the first SA Rally !
