you think maybe that no 100 yards games had soemthing do do with patheitc gameplanning, cowher not giving a **** and hartings getting manhandled?

Not to mention all the turn overs and the fact we got behind early in games is reasons to the Steelers didn't run the ball on the road. I think Tomlin is seeing the potential that I think our offense has and is willing to give them a chance. So lets go defensive and with the added youth rip **** up next year.

K Train

i think our offense is better than you guys give it credit for....cowher really ****ed us last year and whiz only likes 3rd and 10 screen plays....give the new system a chance...its obvious they are happy with what our players bring tothe table

Of all the Pitt games I watched, Blades was a non factor in the 2nd half. I don't know if it was fatigue or what.

I've only seen highlights of him so I don't know, just tryin to get away from what I was thinkin our draft was going to do. It got away from that so I'm thinkin different right now. Blades total tackles went up every year and we will need a replacement for Farrior in the not to distant future. 2004-108, 2005-121, 2006-147

Ok, ok I'll relax. I'll give this draft class a chance. I'll stop trying to tear the FOs head's off. Maybe there were bigger problems than the running game.

The way he was hyped up this past season you would think he was a day 1 pick. I think because of his dad being an ex-pro he was over hyped,IMO.

I think we have to go offense at this point. What more can we do on defense? I can see maybe a corner, but I think we go WR.

6-3 306....Stephenson is an emerging talent who found a home at right guard as a senior. Throughout his college career, he bounced around between both front walls. He began his career as a defensive tackle at Los Angeles Harbor College, but shifted to offensive tackle when he transferred to Rutgers in 2004. Has a thick frame with wide hips, good muscle mass and very good lower-body strength to anchor. Can play with leverage and generates good pop coming off the ball … Efficient trap blocker who could shift to tackle at the pro level because of his ability to move off the snap to explode into defenders … Shows good arm extension to seal off the edge rush … Maintains position and knows how to go low to take defenders off their feet … Effective moving in the short area … Positions himself properly to wall off his man and follow through in run blocking … Slides his feet and mirrors the rusher's moves in pass protection … Uses his big hands forcefully to get control in the trenches … Simply man-handles the pass rushers with his brute strength … Works well with his center pulling on sweeps, but needs to keeps his balance better going after second-level defenders … Shuffles his feet and extends his arms properly dropping back in pass protection … Generates very good power behind his good hand punch to redirect his man … Adequate at handling the speed rush, getting proper arm extension to wall-off and lock onto the blitzers … Knows how to use his size to lean, push and engulf the smaller defenders … Shows decent knee bend and kick slide setting up in pass protection.

A rising corner who has just gotten better all of the time. Ended up a first-team all-Big East corner in 2006 when he finished second on a very good defense in total tackles.

Rugged competitior who is a true battler. Gets to the right position and gets there quickly. Highpoints the ball. Strips balls from receivers. Leaps well. Solid technique. Good blitzer. Solid interceptor with good hands.

He had 2 sacks and 6 INT's last year.....

YES YES YES!!! I still like Ilaoa from Hawaii. Check this out, I realize he played in the WAC but he could be the next Fuamatu Ma'Afala (spelling?? u guys know who I'm talkin about).

5 ft. 8 245 lbs. 4.7 -40 1006 rushing 13 TD's and 837 receiving yds (12.5 avg) 5 TD's

Runs with authority. Breaks tackles galore and gets most of his yards after contact. Never avoids contact. Started his career as a slot back and shows it with his hands. Extraordinary balance. Catches very well, and does the same after the catch that he does on running plays. Great, low, center of gravity. Productive. Runs like a player of his dimensions should. Blocks pretty well. Competes hard. Gets as much as he can possibly get on every touch. Was impressive at the Hula Bowl. A real warrior in every sense of the word, hes a bruiser!!!

That's not what new era scouting says:
http://www.newerascouting.com/index.php?c=20&a=255:dunno:

Everybody has something different bro, wasn't bashing the guy. I don't swear by anybody's one opinion.

Overview Dallas Baker is a big target who took a bit of a back seat to Chad Johnson a year ago, but has taken the bull by the horns during this, his senior, season to showcase his talents. The nephew of former NFL WR Wes Chandler, Baker became a clutch receiver for the Gators this past fall.
Strengths Size and strength. He gets himself in position to make a catch and his size and strength help to keep the defender away from the ball. He'll get the ball at its highest point and can catch effectively with his hands. Once he has the ball, he's a load for a small DB to bring down. Baker is also a very willing and able blocker in the secondary. He has the frame to add additional bulk.
Weaknesses Baker will never be mistaken for one of those quick twitch, explosive, burners. He's got enough speed to be dangerous, but he'll never pose a big threat to a secondary because of it. He's a long-strider who takes a while to get to full speed. While Baker does excel in the short yardage areas, he has dubious courage going across the middle and often hears the footsteps. He's a late maturer (already 24 years old) and has a couple off-field issues for scouts to be aware of.
Projection In a draft that will see an influx of outstanding underclassmen declaring early, Baker could slide some and should be an early second day pick.

As Colston showed last year never count out a 7th round WR.Nice comparison to Colston... we can only hope. They have very similar builds, abilities, and knocks. Both are physical receivers with good body control who may lack the ability to seperate. I would be suprised if he ever puts up numbers like Colston... let alone in his rookie year. But there is some up-side here.

Oh trust me I'm not thinking Baker is going to come in and put up Colston numbers just saying Colston showed last year that a 7th round WR can have an impact in the NFL. I think Baker has the potential to be a solid number 2 WR oneday.
