How badly are we going to crush the browns in our opening game?

I hope its 41-0 or something along those lines. But the Browns did play us tough last year in Cleveland. The Steelers had to comeback in that game to pull out the win. The thing is with division games you just never know.

41-14 and their first round pick goes on IR

i think IR is aimin a little too high
i think he *cough* Brady Quinn *cough* loses and it is again said tht he cant win "the big game" since the stains game against the Steelers is the closest the clowns will ever get to a Super Bowl
then he goes and attempts to commit suicide by drowning himself in erie but the sludge supports him but then the lake spontaneously combusts (again) and he is sidelined for five weeks wit 3rd degree burns in one of the most embaressing turn of events for anyone... ever

:iagree: These AFCN games, you just never know how they will turn out. We are truly in the most competitive division IMO.

Oh I agree I expect the Steelers to sweep the Clowns also. But division games are always tough and you never know. The Browns played the Steelers tough in Cleveland last year. But hopefully the Steelers seem more interested in their jobs this year. I swear in that game at Cleveland last year the Steelers were sleep walking through the first three quarters. Then in the 4th quarter they woke up and pulled the game out.

lol i didnt see that game, it was santonios first TD game if i remember....but you never know because we beat them 41-0 in cleveland the other year and they cried, and charlie batch came in in the 4th and finished the job lol

I think we would have had a much better year last year, if we would hav started Charlie for the first 6 games and gave ben a chance to get back in football shape. I know that Ben was begging to play, but Cowher should have told him no

I am just taking the safe approach, but I love nothing more than an *** kicking of the Browns, I love hearing Cleveland gripe, moan, and bitch after a Steelers *** kicking. Sometimes, I love to live in this city after a beating. I can rub the **** in their faces.

okiesteeler

Ben showed that he needed more time than that, based upon his play, 1/2 way through the season we got things together and went on a win streak, if we could ahve had a few more games, in the first 8 that were wins, then we could have made the playoffs easily

K Train

if he wasnt so damn stubborn and sat out the jacksonville game instead of getting killed by 300 pound stroud and henderson with a gash in his belly and a 101 fever...i think he wouldve been much more ready to play with just that extra week. Also another time he shouldve sat out is when he got smashed by those 2 falcons...batch couldve handled oakland...ah, what could have been.....

We're going to go into Cleveland on opening weekend and take the wind right out of their sails. Same old clowns. Steelers win 27-14.

Yes that was the game Holmes scored his first TD. Man that game was so fustrating to watch. That game was the story of the whole 2006 season. The Steelers for the most seem not interested for 3 quarters and were beating themselves all game. Then in the 4th quarter they woke up and pulled out the win. Just like the second half of the season when the Steelers woke up and almost made the play-offs.

Thats the thing that doesn't need to be happening this season...waking up in the middle of the game. We did that a lot last year and found ourselves on the short end of the stick. We had a few valiant efforts but that **** don't cut it in the NFL.

Exactly Diesel, last year I think the Steelers were alittle to comfortable after their Super Bowl win. The Chargers game was the worse to me. In the second half of that game the whole team quit.

The Broncos game did suck ***. Especially since we kicked their *** in Denver in the AFC title...to lose that game in Pittsburgh was a heart breaker.

:plus1:

Between the injuries to Ben, the super bowl hangover, and just general poor play all around we let ourselves get way too behind thinking we could just "turn it on" whenever we wanted but we found out all to often that you've got to show up every week. It only took to half way through the season to realize it and by then it was basically too late.

We've got to be focused 100 percent of the time this year and leave nothing to chance if we expect to have a winning season. It's got to be full bore, take no prisoners, kick *** every single minute of every game.

House of Steel

Too many games where we quit too often you know, it was puzzling me too much to say, they was in a daze too much.

Someone should have broken Javon Walkers legs and we might have been able to win that game

Last season everyone knew cowher was leaving and he didnt seem to be like his crazy motivating self either that kinda hurt Tomlin will have this team ready to play to their best every week and i believe they will give him all they have he just seems like he can get players to step up and get the job done
