I like Timmons to. But can you all really see the Rooney's dealing with Drew Rosenhaus? I can't I really can't. I know Mr. Rosenhaus has over 90+NFL clients but I don't think any are Steelers. Just a point to throw out there about Rosenhaus.

if they pass on someone because of their agent then the rooneys need to sale the team and just not bother with **** anymore lol

im sure they wouldnt pass on someone because they have a good agent :dunno: that is ridiculous imo, not something they should look into that much.

Teams do that though Koopa. They avoid certain players because of their agents. I can't say that I blame them. Look at the track record of Rosenhaus clients and they're known to hold out. It won't do the Steelers no good to have their first round pick hold out for a long period of time.

The Steelers will need their first round pick to get in on time and learn the playbook and schemes. When you draft a player represented by Rosenhaus it decreases the chances of that.

Finally the first sign of intelligent draft life that we've seen so far

Wasn't he Kordell Stewarts agent and negotiated that blockbuster 29 million dollar deal for him or something?

It happens all the time with teams. You think I pull this **** out the air and make things up?lol Just look at Carl and Kevin Poston. Teams have passed on their clients in pass draft since they're are known to have their clients hold out as well.

If my memory serves me correct the Steelers have no players represented by Rosenhaus or the Postons. I think there is a reason for that. The Rooney's are stuck in their ways as well and avoid crap that agents like Rosenhaus pull.

I thought Kordell used to represented by Leigh Steinberg. I could be wrong though Top.

i never said you pulled it out of the air, its an interesting point but im not gonna put to much into it. if tomlin wants timmons and hes there, i doubt the rooneys are gonna deny him of his guy because of the agent that represents him.

I'm joking around with you Ktrain. Just saying I have read in the past about teams passing on certain players because of their agent. Looking at the way the Rooneys do business is where I can see the Steelers passing on a Rosenhaus client.

Are you going to bust my balls since Verron Haynes is represented by Drew Rosenhaus? But he isn't a Steeler currently thats why I believed no Steeler was represented by Rosenhaus. I didn't know Dookie was. My bad I guess I'm slipping at my older age. But for real make no mistake I know my ****.

Just so long as nobody gets the Poston's as their agent I think we'll be fine.

Those 2 are just looking for a reason to make their player hold out :nonod:

i think Drew Rosenhaus gets a bad rep cause he's willing to represent some *******s, but looking at his client list, he has a lot of players that are good ppl........it's just that the t.o.'s of the league that he represents make him look bad....................

Just trade down for Spencer get a better player, no roesenhouse, and lower picks for mabye another LB or possibly oline,cb,wr,or rb

Koopa Rosenhaus is a great agent. He doe a great job for his clients. All I'm saying is the Rooneys don't usually conduct business the way Rosenhaus does. Now the Steelers could very well still draft Timmons. All I'm saying I wouldn't be shocked if they passed on him since he is represented by Rosenhaus. The Rooneys have their way and they have been successful with it.

A players potential agent can definitely play a part in being a deciding factor especially if it comes down to a couple different players that the team wants they could choose the one with the agent that is easier to deal with.

I think though that if they really want a player no matter what they'd take him no matter who their agent was almost. The good thing about the Rooney's is though they never lock themselves into absolutely having to have a specific 1 player, they always have a reserve in mind.

i agree with koopa, TO made him look bad, i dont think hes as big an *** as we all think...when you get the guys like TO who only want to make the big money he comes through but hes not demanding outrageous contracts for all his clients.
