Wonderlic results
The official results of the Wonderlic test, which was administered at the combine, have been made available. Although there's no Vince Young-gate to report, there are some interesting scores, nonetheless. A year ago, five players (Syracuse DE Kader Drame, Alabama ILB Freddie Roach, Louisville DT Montavious Stanley, NC State TE T.J. Williams and Oklahoma CB Chijioke Onyenegecha) tied for the worst score . The dubious distinction in 2007 goes to Auburn CB David Irons and Weber State S Bo Smith, who each scored 4 out of 50 on the test. The highest score in this year's class was a 41 (Texas G Justin Blalock), and only eight of the 326 players who took the test (at least once) scored a 10 or lower.

Here's a look at the best and worst from this year's Wonderlic results:

Best 10 scores
1. Justin Blalock, G, Texas (41)
2. Anthony Pudewell, TE, Nevada (39)

T-6. Jared Zabransky, QB, Boise State (36)
9. Jordan Kent, WR, Oregon (35)
10. John Beck, QB, BYU (34)

well VY is football smart, thats what matters, but they dumbed down that playbook alot for him....it great to see a guy like blalock get a high score, lineman have to be smart, alot of things involved there

Dan Marino only scored a 17 on his Wonderlic. So I do think it serves a purpose when looking into drafting a player but I wouldn't put to much stock into this test.

i think the wonderlic is the most pointless thing to evaluate players, they ain't gonna be solving math problem while playing.............. but, blalock is a beast on the field and in the class room......so that's why we need him in the second if he falls, of course he won't but if he's there we need to bring him in.........

Yea your boy Vince scored very low on the Wonderlic and he had a very good rookie year. So I total agree that the Wonderlic is pointless.

he supposedly got a very low score, i believe him when he said the 6 was a fake and that he actually got a 16

The wonderlic is over rated. Like everyone has already said, look at Youngs score and what he did last season. The wonderlic is something someone came up with too **** with peoples heads.

Here's a link to information about the wonderlic...
It will explain how to score what you get right at this next link (below), and tells what some prominent football players got.

I find it interesting too each year to see who scored high and who sucked at the test, and then see how they turned out as NFL players.

I just don't get how these dudes get college degrees, and get a four on a test most 5th graders could at least get a 25 on.
