Ahhh... the mourning of Bristol. I love this track, I think I've been hooked on NASCAR ever since I saw my first race here. I like the night race better and I'm not sure about the "Car of Tomarrow" but I'm still pumped. They'll be tradin some paint in less than a couple hours.

17!!!

Yeah, there is prolly a dance competition or some re-runs of Will and Grace you can watch instead.

I'm gonna be flipping between the race, the Pistons game, and the Elite 8...

I love the short track races! Sometimes the super speedway races become a little boring. Anyone that says Bristol is boring ought to be checked for a pulse IMO.

Man those banks are steep!... Yesterday they showed an old clip of a couple guys that kicked a VW down the bank.

Yes they are,, They give an example of a race at bristol

They took a BB and put it in a bowl and waved it about and then they said that's what bristol racing is

IMO it's without a doubt the best race of the season, especially the night race
we've been twice

congrats to steven wallace for winning his 1st busch pole there on saturday. He'll be my 2nd favorite driver when he arrives in Nextel Cup. I always pulled for Rusty before I got real big into NASCAR. :redcool:

What a race!... Denny has been leading for a while, but Harvick just passed him.

If my man Jeff Burton was an aggressive driver he probably could have spun out Busch and won the race (ala Dale Earnhardt at Texas on Terry Labonte) at the end. But Burton is known as one of the "Gentleman" drivers. He is still doing well in the points. I believe he has 4 out 5 -- top 5 finishes.

Burton ran a clean race til' the end. I wouldn't expect anything less from him... he's a class act.

So what's the deal with the track at Bristol? I saw DW with a jack hammer on the Speed Channel tearing it up. Are they redoing the track?
