* Known as AdamJT13 to his followers on the internet, his < "http://www.kffl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=200611" > world-famous compensation projections are in.

Last year Adam correctly projected fourth and fifth round compensation picks to the Steelers. This year, he projects they'll receive a fourth-round pick for the loss of Chris Hope and a fifth-round pick for the loss of Antwaan Randle-El.

The compensation picks will officially be announced at next week's owners' meetings, but it's a mere formality thanks to Adam.

* Scout.com's Tony Pauline has learned that the Steelers are showing interest in a pair of similar style defensive ends: Lamar Woodley of Michigan and Nu'u Tafisi of Cal.

Both players are short, squat defensive ends who project to outside linebacker in a 3-4, and both play with a great energy that has marked their college careers.

Woodley is coming off of an impressive pro day workout and projects as a late first, early second-round pick. Tafisi, one of my personal favorites, is similar in style to Clark Haggans and projects as a fifth or sixth rounder.

I didn't mind the thoughts of drafting Adam Carriker who is referred to as the Aaron Smith clone, but a Clark Haggans clone? Thought somebody would've broke that mold to make sure we didn't get another one!
Lamar Woodley isn't a bad choice but not in the first round IMO.
