his son is a friend of mine and i'm renting a house from him. pretty beat up helmet haha. i wish it could talk...the stories it would tell!! 4 rings!!!

Neat conversation piece, it would tell you about first 2 Super Bowls though. He retired after 1976 season.

RAY PASSED AWAY AND HIS SON IS KINDA "OUT THERE" IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. HE'S A REAL PARTIER. I THINK HE FORGOT IT HERE OR SOMETHING. OR DOESN'T CARE ABOUT IT RIGHT NOW. I KNOW HE WILL ONE DAY. IT'S IN GOOD HANDS.

You guys now the Pirates Astros game in i think 97 where the pirates through A no hitter and the pirates won in the 10th with a walkoff homerun I got the bat that hit the homerun

why doesnt ray mansfield or his son have ray mansfield's super bowl helmet.Ray died of a heart attack while hiking in the grand canyon. I don't remember what year it was.

Right on! I was at that game, sat in the 300 level 3rd base line.
