Great story about all the things Ben wasn't suppose to be able to do in the NFL but has! For example:

They said he was too young to win as a rookie, so he went out and won his first 13 starts.

But a Super Bowl? A 23-year-old quarterback had never won a Super Bowl...until Roethlisberger did last season.

The Steelers really got the better of three QB's in the draft of 04, without a boubt! Rivers hasn't had a chance to prove himself and Manning is slowly coming around, but everything Ben has accomplished thus far will probably never be matched... at least not in my lifetime!

There is zero doubt that Ben is the premier QB of his class. He's got all the upside in the world but he came from a smaller school and thus didn't get all the attention that an Eli Manning did or Philip Rivers. Im glad we got Ben, I wouldnt trade him for the world !

Out of curiosity do you all see Ben retiring a Steeler or at least playing through his prime as a Steeler?

That's a scary thought thinking he hasn't even reached his prime yet...

I think he loves this team and the city and he realizes that this is the best place for him to become a legend. And if Cowher (who he loves working under) retires then Wisenhunt might take over and that would be just as good for Ben because Ken knows how to help him succeed.

I don't see Ben leaving anytime soon. You know the Steelers are already working on something to try and lock him up long term. No way do you let a QB go that has played as well as he has this early in his career.

Ben is certainly something special. Anything is possible with this guy. I don't see him going anywhere either. He seems to be happy here and the Steelers will get a long term deal done.

Ben isn't going anywhere. Even if negotations get tough when it comes time for a new contract. You know the steelers will use the franchise tag.

I agree, and he has the ring that they can`t take away from him. Bottom line is SuperBowl Rings. Don`t know if Eli or Rivers will ever get one, but we know Ben will always have atleast two, oops a little premature.
