From KFFL:

John Murphy, of Yahoo! Sports, reports unrestricted free-agent RB Ahman Green (Packers) has reached a contract agreement with the Houston Texans. John McClain, of the Houston Chronicle, reports the deal is worth $23 million over four years and has $6.5 million guaranteed.

Green was going to be a big key to the Packers in 2007 but he's gone now and if he stays healthy the Texans just make a big boost in the direction of taking pressure off Carr with the addition of Green to their running game.

hmmmm not sure behind that offensive line he is going to be any better then he was in GB, and well he is no Reggie Bush thats for sure.

Texans are a messed up franchise and this helps maybe a little at most

What happen to Davis in Houston? Did that knee injury last year end his career or Green really an insurance policy in case the knee doesn't hold up for Davis?

The money Green is getting is starter money so I'd look for him to be the odds on favorite coming into 2007 to start.

They didnt bring Green in to sit behind Davis. I think Davis is about done in Houston if he is not already.

I think the Texans over paid bigtime for an aging/injury prone RB. Plus with the signing of Green just makes the Texans look that much foolish for passing on Reggie Bush in last years draft.

Carr might not even be with the Texans next year
