He in no way a first round pick KTrain needs to get off his high horse
look at NFL Draft Countdown
http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/de/anthonyspencer.html
They have him going in the early 2nd round not mid 1st
He Is undersized and doesn't have either the height or bulk you look for

IM aware the steelers have talked to him I wouldnt mind if we got him in the 2nd round but no point at takin him at 15

yeah hes undersized for a defensive end, but hes the perfect size for a 3-4 OLB....hes done everything right so far, and i dont see any reason why hes not a legit first rounder :dunno:

6'2" 260 is hardly undersized for a 34 OLB. The dude would fit us perfect. He has decent, but not great speed and his potential is huge. His stock is rising from what Ive heard and he's not that far of a reach at 15 IMO either.

you know how strong harrison is though? once again height is overrated, but harrison was so strong they had him practicing at FB last year just to get him involved a little more.....hes to athletic to sit on the bench imo

thought he was a DE

he is, but he won't be in a 3-4, he'll be playing OLB in a 3-4

He is a DE in a 4-3 and thats what he was at Purdue. But in a 3-4 he would play OLB since he doesn't have the weight to DE in the 3-4. The Steelers have a history of converting former college DE into OLB in their 3-4 defense.

Oh lets see Greg Lloyd, Chad Brown, Jason Gildon, Joey Porter, Clark Haggans to name a few.

99% of 3-4 linbackers were 4-3 DEs in college

Exactly. That little player from the Cowboys by the name of DeMarcus Ware was a DE in college also. He now plays OLB. Thats what the Steelers should do is trade for Ware.:bluelol: It would take much to do so but I can dream.
