Not sure if this has been posted or not before but this stat is amazing!

They draft well: The last seven first-round draft picks for the Penguins are all currently playing on the team and are making significant contributions. That's rare in any sport. The "Magnificent 7" are Crosby, Jordan Staal (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=3980), Evgeni Malkin (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=3638), Marc-Andre Fleury (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=3341), Ryan Whitney (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=3072), Colby Armstrong (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=2857) and yes, even Brooks Orpik (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=2491).

7 first round picks playing for the same team at the same time! Amazing!

In this day and age in sports, that is indeed amazing. Hell many times 1st round draft picks don't even make the roster after a few years, let alone the last 7 in row still contributing in a positive manner for their original team.

The Pens are on the verge of another dynasty in the making. I pray and hope they stay in the BURGH.

Yes, maybe our luck would change with the pirates.

Lol, "Pens draft genious". First of all, the guy who drafted those guys, Craig Patrick, is gone. Second, aside from obvious picks like Crosby, Malkin, Fleury, Lemieux, etc, pretty much the whole 90s were full of 1st round busts. Aleksey Morozov, for example. Never reached his full potential, although he was finally starting to get good right before the lockout when he was on Mario's line.

Although, I must say I'm surprised Colby was a 1st round pick. He's more of a grinder than a typical star player. Don't get me wrong, I love Army and all the things he brings to the team that don't always get noticed, but with his style of play I'm surprised he was a 1st round pick.
