Yeah I just got the lineup from FoxSports, I also just read that J. Gordon was caught with a post race inspection penalty that will drop him to 42nd sunday. So there are some changes to the starting lineup that haven't been posted yet.:banging:

Gordon's car was found to be too low in post-race inspection. As a consequence, he was relegated to the 42nd starting position on Sunday. NASCAR characterized the infraction as the result of an unintentional misalignment of a bolt and shock mount on Gordon's No. 24 Chevrolet. Gordon was allowed to keep the win in the Gatorade Duel 150 qualifying race.

anyone smell sarcasm?

no points deductions? fines? crewcheifs suspended?

no? i wonder why?

must be a late wedding present from NASCAR

Thanks Diesel... Kenseth isn't starting at the back of the field?his penalty of being sent to the rear of the field was only for the qualifying races. other than that, he raced his way to a much higher position he probably wouldve qualified at based on time alone. good job:banana:

unfortunaltely, i think we all know a chevy is gonna win this race, regardless.

Gordons team wasn't fined because it was a mechanical failure that caused them to fail the inspection. They still have to start at the back though.

Just making my allegiance clear before the season started! Been a Jeff Burton fan since he was driving the #99 Exide Batteries Car for Jack Rousch.
He is due and his team started coming together towards the end of the year last year!

This could also be the beginning of the Dale Earnhardt Junior Dominance Era. His time is coming and I know darn well, his father's spirit lives in him and going to carry him one of these seasons. Now, if he can put his differences to the side and concentrate on winning.

That really sucks for Gordon! Oh well, starting from the back will probably make it more competitive and make him more focused because he will want to get to the front of the pack to start the season off right!

Waltrip rebounded from his controversy to qualify... I figured he would though :dunno:

no racer who started lower than #33 has ever won the Daytona 500

since Gordon has been moved back does this put Earnhardt on the outside of row 2?
if it does  :cope:
