This team is very thin on the defensive line.

To bad he never fit out scheme. But, glad he is gone.

Sorry Train, didn't know you mentioned this in another thread.

Hopefully for Ziggy's sake and the Jags I guess...Jacksonville has an Outer Limits Sports Performance facility down there...

2008 and 2009 classes are now gone and pretty much forgotten...

Thus, the sub-par 2012 and 2013.

Cripes, I didn't want him for free. What a terrible contract.

He's going to get the juicy Undertackle role next to Red Bryant's 5 tech...

The contract is insane based on his career performance... but his skill set is a perfect fit, and if it works, he'll be a bargain.

Ziggy was an interior 4-3 lineman in a 3-4 scheme. Not surprised he's gone, but what now? Heyward going to play alone?

They're bringing in people for visits and then there's this little thing called the draft lol. They'll figure it out.

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. Those are the classes that should be making up the core of the team right now. At least there are some decent players in the league from 2009 (Wallace, Lewis, Urbik, Hood). They are just not on the Steelers anymore. But from 2008, there isn't anyone in the league anymore, which is pretty pathetic.

This is a case on square peg in a round hole: Ziggy is a 2-tech DT not a 5-tech DE: Not everyone can make the switch well. I think he will done fine in JV
