Great find? It was a fluke they found him.

They had NO IDEA who he was, they went to his campus to scout his QB and Brown happened to be there catching passes for him that day.

So the scouts were there to watch one player, and discovered another.... hmmm... it sounds kind of like.... scouting

you're dumbness knows no bounds

How could they not know who he was BEFORE they went up there? He was a productive player in college, not like they didn't have any film on Central Michigan.

Could it be possible that the Steelers said they where at Central Michigan to scout Dan LeFevour but really where there to see Antonio Brown?......Teams always do things not to tip their hand on on who they plan on drafting.......

Your OCD need to hate everything other than Big Ben, leads you to many moronic comments... and this was one of them.

I'd love to see the link to the article that your read and most likely misinterpreted. Please provide.

It is very common for late round picks to be discovered on work out trips. very common.

If they just "discovered" Antonio Brown after CM's Pro Day? Then I'd have to wonder what our scouts do during the year and it would certainly explain the poor drafting that this team has had in recent seasons.

I would like a quote from someone at the top saying, "none of our scouts even knew who Antonio Brown was before we saw him working out during our trip to see Lefevour at Central Michigan, even after we planned the trip we instructed our scouts to not even look at anyone else at Central Michigan, even though we'd be there watching the team work out"

When you are delusional... like Crash... you'll "hear" whatever you want.

I have no doubt that Antonio Brown's workout put him on the Steelers draft radar... that's pretty common. But the story Crash is trying to sell is most likely a fabrication of loosely connected statements and beliefs.

LeFevour was also drafted in the 6th round so what is your point?

Well its clear Brown wasn't on any other teams radar either since he was drafted in the 6th round.....So I guess all the other scouts across the NFL are worthless as well?.........

All that matters really is when the Steelers scouts finally discovered Brown they did come away impressed and the team ended up drafting him in the 6th round which turned out to be a major steal........

Happens all the time... Same thing with Colon. They went to look at someone else.

First of all, that happens all the time... But no one is surprised when you have no clue about something. Secondly, let's look at the definition of "find" shall we? "Find" - (verb) To discover or perceive by chance or unexpectedly. (noun) A discovery of something valuable.

Discovering something valuable, unexpectedly or by chance... Kind of like discovering a Pro Bowl player and 1000 yard reciever while scouting another player?

6th rounder... That means 32 teams passed on him a minimum of 5 times... Thats good value weather they scouted him or got lucky and found him.

it's something that probably entered your brain via a misconstrued statement that you read in someone's blog. It then waded around in your fractured mental cavity to be spit out later when you needed something to connect your conspiracy theory into whatever Steelers conversation was going on at the time.
