When I try and blend them I do a gaussian blur at about 4 pixels. Then fade it with soft light. Is that a good way or is there a better way?

I like using that picture of Ike in signatures too, but its alittle dark and tends to come out funky atleast Ive found. You're's looks good :bigthumb:

Actually that sig was only a few layers. Not as complex as that Xmen - Beast sig.

Background is a shot of the rink, some gradient layers, pattern layer, a little brushing. The rest I did alot of lighting work. Plus a little pattern/brushing for the 'sid the kid' boxes on the left side.

Originally I had a different pic of Sid and the stadium in the correct direction (flipped it for her current sig). But didn't like how it was going. Didn't seem like I was getting anywhere with it and really didn't like the image to begin with, so I dumped it and started over.

I love this one.. That is a great picture. I really think having a good quality picture to work with can make or break a sig.. but....:2cents: :dunno: what do I know about making them..I just look at them, ALOT of them!
