Cornelius Washington

I've been Rewatching lots of Georgia tape (re-evaluating Jones).. and Wwashington started to stand out. So I went back to the Senior Bowl, and this guy absolutely ate Eric Fisher for breakfast. He just completely dominated one of the supposed elite tackles in the draft.

Just watched his combine work outs... he's a beast. Total monster in the measurables.
Massive 34 wing span and ripped off 36 ****ing reps!
Oh... and he ran a 4.55

He was used situationally in Georgia... but the potential is off the charts

I'm all in on Cordarelle Patterson in the 1st. And you can put Washington down as my 2nd round pick, if his combine doesn't rocket him into the 1st round.

I like him, he needs a ton of refining though and back to your post in the other thread i dont get how you can be ok with taking such a raw player that likely wont contribute right away but say the steelers have no room for a luxury pick

You HAVE to be suspect of a D/?OLB rumored to run sub 4.4 (even though 4.55 is still amazing) and fails to dominate in college and be completely outclassed by his teammate.

He'll have a home in the league but hes like a combo of michael johnson (decently good player) and dontay moch (terrible player)...i think its pretty difficult comparing him to any players that arent complete busts, but im interested to see who you think he compares to

also hes had some DUI suspension(s) if i remember correctly. Probably a 4th round guy with first round measurables.

I like Lemonier as a pass rusher no one is talking about

The distinction is the 1st round pick.

We NEED to draft a pass rusher... but we don't need to take a risk on one in the 1st round with a career threatening injury.

Risk on development is inherent in most draft picks
Risk on health/injury is a choice (and one I'd rather avoid)

Stenosis is a curved spine that doesnt get better, only worse... maybe JJ goes to someone in the third round?

gronkowski had the same thing, while it might not get better its not guaranteed to affect his immediate ability. It will likely be a problem for him later in life whether he plays football or not

No he didn't
False reporting at the time

Gronkowski had spinal surgery to repair a disc. He did not have the degenrative disease spinal stenosis

potential is pretty much the only thing all of these guys have whether they were supremely productive in college or if they are just a workout warrior....arent you a coach? lol
