We've all seen games that just go sideways from the start, it happens!

What bothered me was what I didn't see yesterday! Maybe I missed it but.............

I never saw one player or coach get wranged up!

I didn't see Ben calling out Wallace and Brown for the drops!

I didn't see Tomlin do anything!

I didn't see Haley yell at the offensive line!

I didn't see a single agitated speech on the sidelines or in the huddle!

It was like the entire team just accepted the loss from the very beginning!

This team is a total enigma to me. I can honestly admit that I don't know what we'll get out of them from week to week.

I attended the so called game the Steelers tried to play sunday, and Stone I agree with you totally, I watched the sidelines waiting to see someone do something! I did see Ben go up to AB after Wallace missed the bomb, but I think it was to apologize for not seeing him? I also wasn't impressed with the fans as well, the only time they would get loud is when the big screen reminded everyone. Although both AB and Wallace got booed after the two drops which was actually awesome IMO! I live in southern Indiana and our family makes a trip back home to see the Steelers once a year and to go back home and see them go thru the motions made me sick!!!

NE crushed the #1 seed Texans last night. Never let up. I hate the Pats, but they know how to kick a team in the nuts and don't give an inch. I'm not for embarrassing the other team, but I'd like to see the B&G unleash their will on a team like the Cowboys for the league to take notice. Comeback the next week against Cinci and do it again.

Pats are the real deal and no matter what scrub they put into their system Belichick has them ready to play. Can't say that about our worthless coach. Donte Stallworth for pete's sake was on the sofa 5 days ago and yesterday he caught a 60+ yard touchdown pass. WTF!

If this is the best the AFC had to offer I have seen enough. I hate the Patriots more than anybody but I refuse to watch them win another Super Bowl. I placed a bet this morning at 9-2 for $100.

Patriots win the Super Bowl at least I will win $450 now. If they lose than it was best $100 I ever spent.

He is a good coach....he just isn't perfect. Just for grins, tell me 5 NFL head coaches you would swap him for?

You dont think he is even a "good" coach. Please, who would you want coaching this team next season? Andy Reid?

I would swap him with Bill Billacheat in a nano second. You can insert any other name in the 4 slots because after Bill the drop-off is huge.

Picking who I would want other than Tomlin is a moot conversation because he has a job here until he wants to move on. Being so young, high profile gig and makes a handsome salary, he is gonna be the coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers for a long time.
Is he great? No, not even close. Is he terrible? Again, not even close. Does he have a lot of learning to do? Yes, he does. His team is competive, for the most part, but lack the killer instinct. He makes some bone-headed decisions that you scratch your head to, but he still is a Top 10 HC. He's rather black and white in his approach, even if he sidesteps and talks in circles, at times.

Tomlin is a good coach and is an X's and O's guy. But as long as DL is on the staff, Tomlin doesn't have to be that guy. he just has to make better decisions on 4th down, use of challenges, intangibles like that.

Not Tomlin. Why? he has no clue as to what he is doing.

Damn, it must take a dumbass to have the record he has and 2 superbowl appearences already. Typical spoiled fan I take it. Have to go 13-3 every year and make the AFC championship game, or else its a fail. Right?

Hey, the standard is the standard!

Just kidding, I think the Steelers faithful is a very proud group and we hate to see losses to teams that we should be crushing. Win the ones you're supposed to and win the divisional battles and that usually equals a post season birth.

As for the "fire in the belly", I thought the team came out relatively flat in the super bowl with green bay and vs. denver last year. Unless you're in the locker room its hard to say who to blame. Ben just stated in an article that he layed into some teammates at halftime vs san diego and is challenging them for the rest of the season. This is good to hear, I hope he takes more of a vocal approach. A lot of our older vets (Miller, Polamalu, Harrison, Hampton) don't seem to be the vocal type, more the "do my talking on the field" type imo. Keisel seems to be stepping up in that regard and lets hope Ben does the same for the offense. I hope Pouncey and Heyward pick it up for the younger guys. Little Ironhead has a nasty streak same as Pouncey. Tougher for Cameron since he isn't starting but its a thought. The team does seem to lose the killer instinct frequently.

That's one, give me four more and then we can talk about just how good or bad he really is.

Nah.....I think it's just fans who don't realize the complexity of the NFL. They associate it to their days playing high school football and think that Tomlin is a poor coach because they don't like his sideline demeanor. They remember running laps when they messed up in high school and think Tomlin should be making players run laps.
