Is it my imagination or does Cortez break up passes and make it look easy. Where as Ike seems to cover the WR and then tackle them after they catch it.. Where is all the noise about us losing Ike??

We are going into the playoffs with Cortez Allen and Ike will be watching with Mendy...

I like Cortez... He looks fast as anyone out there and he turns for the ball and looks for the INT...

Anyone else notice this?

I want Ike with the physical receivers....but he does get burnt a little too often in the big games.

Ike will not be benched like Mendy. The only way Ike is watching in the playoffs, is if he is still hurt.
But yes, I like Cortez a lot and he is showing a lot of potential.

Cortez looks good but Ike is the much better (and proven) CB at this point. There is no way Cortez takes over for Ike in the playoffs. He (Ike) is the lynch pin of the secondary, taking the other team's best receiver every week.

A hairline fracture.. two weeks minimum means back to practice in 2 and back to game speed in 4-6..

The headline on ESPN said two games, not two weeks.

When healthy Ike is the starter. Cortez will be a good one, Ike is a good one.

It's breaks his current streak of 135 straight games played. Crazy.

Cortez seems more smooth to me. Like he can get turned around recover better. Probably cuz Ike is a failrly large CB. Either way Ike is getting up there in age and Cortez I hope is the future!

I really like Cortez. The biggest play that stood out to me in the Ravens game was when he got beat but still recovered and almost picked off the pass intended for Smith in the endzone. He is a great athlete and has mad potential.

While it was a nice play, the reason he "recovered" was because of a horribly underthrown ball by Mr. Elite. If he leads Smith, it would've been 6. Luckily Flacco is awful.

You mean Joe Flacco isn't the best QB in the NFL like he claims?....lol

Very good point, but you still have to give Cortez credit for not giving up on the play.

No doubt, hence the "while it was a nice play" lol.

The other play I liked was the play where he was called for PI. Even though it was a penalty, it saved the Ravens from getting 7 on that drive. They ended up with 3, huge play in the game.

Harbaugh was making Flacco throw at Cortez all day... He held up good under the pressure.

Best QB in the NFL? HA! More like best QB in NFL history. And he has the best eyebrow in the history of sports (sorry Anthony Davis).
