This list is of players in bowl games this year, to keep a eye on that i think could fit in well on the steelers. Im not gonna have Te'o from Notre Dame on the list, because we are not getting him hes a top 5 pick unless we trade up not gonna happen. But this list might and probably will change when it gets closer to draft time. But this is no order in which i think they will take the players or whatever. Just want to make the list and see what you guys think of the players if they will fit in like i think they will. Also if any one else has players to watch out for that are playing in the BOWL GAMES add them!!

I for one am hoping Notre Dame win the National Championship and Stanford win the Rose Bowl so some of their underclassmen come out. I really like some of the redshirt juniors on Stanfords D and Notre Dame's D is loaded as well. Louis Nix III from Notre Dame is very interesting and depending on what happens with Ta'amu we might have a big need for a stud NT.

I would add...
Louis Nix III*: NT: Notre Dame: 6'3-330; Plays Alabama
Prince Shembo*: OLB: Notre Dame: 6'2-250; Plays Alabama
Shayne Skov: ILB: Stanford: 6'3-250; Plays Wisconsin
Ben Gardner*: DL: Stanford: 6'4-280; Plays Wisconsin
Henry Anderson*: DL: Stanford: 6'6-280; Plays Wisconsin
D.J. Swearinger: FS: South Carolina: 6-0-210; Plays Michigan

I think a hard hitting Safety should be our first overall pick. I like Rambo(Georgia),
Vaccaro(Texas),Reid(LSU) the best here. Next with our second round pick I'd go LB.
2nd rd LB's who may still be on the board,Skov/Thomas(Stanford),both could go earlier.
Someone like Knott or Klein from ISU could be on the board,I'd be happy with them too.
Next in the 3rd I'd go DE/DT depending who is on the board still. Steinkuler(Nebr) or Hunt
(SMU) would be a great pick up in this spot.

How about John Simon, LB, Ohio State. I know they are not in a bowl, but could be a solid pick, Round #2.

Just my opinion but I don't think there are truely any 1st round safety prospects this year. I think Rambo and Vaccaro can be early 2nd round guys but no one sticks out. Reid has been very inconsistent this year and could fall to the late second. But guys could jump up the board after the combine.
I'm not usually in favor of ever trading away our 1st round pick. But I think that we could build an outstanding Defensive draft if we got an extra pair of early 2nd and 3rd round picks this year.

I like him and think he'd fit in good on the steelers, but i was just doing guys in bowls games to keep a eye on. trust me i know there are players that didnt make a bowl game that would fit in well on us. Ill do that list around when the combine is and sr bowl. closer to draft time ill make a board of who we should draft..

No matter what happens in the NC, I'd be shocked if Nix and/or Shembo declared for the draft. Kapron Lewis-Moore could be an interesting pick. Possibly Zeke Motta in the late rounds. It sounds like Cierre Wood is going to leave early for the draft. Personally I think he should come back to ND for his 5th year since he'll definitely be the #1 RB on the team, but who am I to say he shouldn't go pro. My dream would be to get Te'o, but there's no way that's happening. Imagine Manti Te'o next to Lawrence Timmons....WOW!!

I agree with you Flame ...

I wouldn't be mad with a 1st round of Reid / Elam /
and 2nd round of Rambo
