After the game last night, Joe Starkey posted up a short piece after the media talked to James Harrison last night in the locker room.

Judge for yourself:

In fact, Harrison paused for a full 6 seconds when an NFL Network reporter asked him that question. Finally, he said, "I wasn't. I don't think. I don't know ... Um, no. You're focused on this game. I mean, in the back of your head you might have been (looking ahead). But when it comes down to it, they played a good game."

Asked if the Steelers are where they need to be defensively, Harrison said, "No. We took a step back, I believe, this week."

Come on James were not stupid........The team plays lights out to the Giants then looks unprepared and disinterested against the Chiefs......Again it reflects on the HC....But I have never seen a team with so many past champions on the roster just mail it in after having some success at times......

Yep..they were looking past the Chiefs. Now our season is over because they didn't come out and just take care of business and snuff out any fire the Chiefs may have had. That's what happens when you don't take care of business when your suppose to.

So they didn't take care of business vs the raiders...
Didn't take care of business vs the titans...
Almost lost to the chiefs last season with Tyler Palio at QB...
...and they weren't focused on the chiefs this year on Monday night?

When will this team ever learn? THERE ARE ZERO GIMMIES IN THE NFL!!!!

Damn that's frustrating!!!!!!!!

Even the great Steelers of the 70's tended to play down to their competition.....so do most great teams.

The key is that we got out with a win!

It happens, who would have bet the Rams would have taken the 49ers to OT in San Fran and wound up tying the game?
The Steelers are 2 missed FG's away from being 8-1 and the Ravens are a FG away from being 6-3.

When a team lets an inferior opponent hang around, BAD THINGS HAPPEN.

Byron is a bum. With his 15 minute windmill throws. We are done. And Suggs is salivating at knowing it take Byron 15 minutes to throw a pass. Gzzzzz

Keep in mind this not the 2000 Ravens defense; they are older and more borken down than ours is. Barring an implosion, Steelers should be able to move the ball and put up some points.

Starks does well traditionally against Suggs. We will just need to keep Miller with Adams just in case.
