View Full Version : How were the Chiefs not fined for that premeditated, stupid looking dance?

So Antonio Brown gets fined $15K for taunting as he back stepped into the end zone, but the Chiefs do that ridiculous looking, two step, sack dance thing and don't get a flag?

Just another BS situation where the officials never make the consistent call every week.

One's a celebration and the other is a taunt, which is the difference. That said, it was a ridiculous "dance."

Obvious missed call. I was bitching about it...

Can't knock the Kid 'n Play dance though lol.

Both seem like taunting to me. Both stupid but clearly that Chiefs thing was just ugly looking if nothing else.. LOL

They don't hand fines out during games. :)

Unless it's to James Harrison

He was just fined for your comment. Suspension pending...

And when is cussing at an official for a call, a penalty worthy offense? I don't think I've ever heard that before???

they'll probably be fined....

IM surprised it wasnt a penalty tho...seeing as it was a group celebration....just like the TD dance

Chiefs deserve to lose the rest of the games this year! No way to taunt when you're 1-7 (8 now) losers!!

That's a good point and a big problem with pro sports today. Celebrating everything, even when you are losing.

That is exactly what happened in the Redskins game too (DeAngelo Hall). You cannot do it. It may not always get called (kind of like offensive PI) but you cannot complain when it is.

Did anyone catch the C'mon Man yesterday when the Ravens were up by like 24 and a Raiders CB was taunting one of the Ravens receivers when they stopped them on 3rd and goal, and the Ravens WR just pointed at the scoreboard? Obviously I hate the Ravens but I thought that was hilarious.

Yes, that was Boldin....and it was awesome. Hate the Ravens still.

I never really had a disliking for Boldin. Wish we could have gotten him.

A good move by Boldin. The entire culture with these celebrations is annoying. It's your freaking job that you get paid millions to do. Does anyone else here do a dance when they complete a task in their job description? LOL

I didn't even see anything take place last night. Must have been a REALLY bad word.

I agree. The cameras, at the very least, caught more of Hall's antics than last night's. I suspect that Colon went over the imaginary line though.
