At least our defense is getting pressure SOMEWHERE. . . .Sucks when you own O-Line can't protect you - IN PRACTICE!

Doesn't sound too serious, but it certainly doesn't help matters. Especially against the Bengals aggressive D-line.

Can we get an fn break besides an ankle??

It doesn't feel like an NFL season until we have some Ben Roethlisberger -related injury drama.

The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback left Thursday's practice with a right foot injury. That's the bad news. The good news according to multiple reporters in attendance: Roethlisberger is "fine" and will play Sunday night against the Bengals .

Steelers center Maurice Pouncey returned for at least a "light practice" Thursday, which bodes well for his status. Linebacker Lawrence Timmons also returned to practice. Safety Troy Polamalu is expected to miss the game.

This is a desperate game for both teams despite it only being Week 7. The Bengals would drop their third straight game and their third division game overall on the young season if they fall short. The Steelers would drop to 2-4 with a loss. Both teams pride themselves on defense, yet have been mediocre on that side of the ball.

Flashback - Last year. It starts little and ...

It didn't start little last year. When Ben got hurt last year it looked like his season would be over.

He left practice but he's fine. No big deal at all.

This is no big deal. Ben plays better when he is a little banged up anyway.

I thought they were going to say Gilbert landed on him. Our one man wrecking crew.:stirpot::yesnod:

Yawn (checking watch) . . .

Until his head rolls off his shoulders I have no concerns.

Dulac needs to stop being such a drama queen all the time. As soon as Ben got up everybody knew he was fine, he even said so afterwards. They will always hold out Ben for precautions if there is any doubt.

He'll play, but at least it wasn't Gilbert that rolled up on him...LOL

Some of these clowns just have it out for Ben and love to stir up crap.
