Additionally, the Steelers signed defensive end Corbin Bryant to fill the open spot on their active roster. Bryant appeared in one game in 2011 for the Steelers and spent the rest of the season on the practice squad. He originally signed with the Steelers as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Northwestern University prior to the start of training camp in 2011. Bryant will wear No. 71.

The Steelers also signed offensive lineman Jacques McClendon to the practice squad. McClendon, who most recently spent time with the Detroit Lions, was originally drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round (129th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft.

To make room for McClendon on the practice squad, the Steelers released tight end Jamie McCoy

So this tells me that Tomlin is going to just keep going with 7 offensive lineman again this week. With backups already starting at Center and RT the depth is a question mark even more.

None of these guys are going to stay on the roster unless some unique circumstance comes about with injuries. Once Ta'amu is eligible to return, Bryant will be cut and McLendon will be off the PS.
