He wasn't a draft pick, but he might be the most talented TE on the roster besides Miller.

David Paulson made this a much easier decision. He's come a long way and Saunders missing all this time was his downfall.

He wasn't a draft pick, but he might be the most talented TE THAT WAS on the roster besides Miller.

edited that statement for you :)

If hes cut now, that seems like they knew they were going to cut him anyways... we keep him around?

found this on twitter:

As initially expected, the #Steelers cut TE Weslye Saunders on day he was eligible to come off NFL suspension.Club needs him, too. #Tough'12

Are you being facetious? I can't tell. Assuming you are, so will refrain from a snarky reply.

MEASURABLY BETTER THAN Paulson I guess they held his college trouble against him. but i will say 4 games for adderal is harsh.the only thing i don't know is if he tested positive more than once before they gave him four games.think about it those *******s on the saints got less games than him and they wanted to hurt ppl. oh well we have bigger problems like woodley becoming achina doll and polamalu getting old .

I don't think this is a very good move unless he came into practice strung out, etc. The offense has been using H. Miller very effectively and Saunders has shown good hands. I just don;t think Paulson has IT. I would rather have seen Pope released than WS. Just a crappy year for the steelers F.O. imo.
