I didnt hear how serious both injuries were to both guys but I am guessing that both are not going to play against the Titans on Thursday night. Frustrating to see Troy come back and get hurt right away in the 1st quarter not good at all. Hopefully the injury to Woodley isnt too serious either...

I doubt he will be put on IR the injury wasnt that serious...Hopefully he is okay and can be back soon and quit getting hurt. I agree though it's starting to get ridiculous with Troy more and more...

Yeah Troy stayed on the sidelines and was able to get off the field on his own. Don't know how serious it was but I doubt it was IR worthy

I doubt it. That means he's out for the rest of the year. He'll miss a few weeks, most likely. I'm guessing 3-4. But not the rest of the year.

Troy has been out with the same thing since last year, if it didn't heal over the summer why would it heal during the season?

I am so damn sick of Troy and these injuries! For God sakes the dude can't even stay healthy for one game, let alone an entire season! I love the guy when he's on the field but good grief this is just ridiculous.

Troy keeps getting hurt, its just doesn't look good, and he is not Mr. reliable any more.

whats going on with Woodley? Timmons has been more reliable than Woodley , but hey what do I know. I'm just a french kid!

I'm still convinced that when Troy is on the field the defense is clearly a better unit. Having said that if we don't go safety next April then the front office needs their heads examined.

Prepare for the future after Troy, it's coming sooner than we'd like.

I think the most important thing is that we need a defensive play maker. Could be at MILB, or even corner, but that's what we're missing right now. We really have 3 play makers on D, Troy, Harrison and Woodley, and they've all been injured the last couple years.

That being said, we need an OLB as much as a S. Even if we gotta trade up to get one of the two, it should be considered. And for Fs sake, can't we find someone better than Mundy in FA? He's not a very good player.

Safety and LB have to very high on next's years draft.

Wishing both Troy and Lamaar a speedy recovery. We need them both.

I hate it, but its time to draft a safety high in the draft.

Troy is a liability, how do you plan around your best safety when he can't finish a game or start?? It's getting scary!!

agreed. i think troys career is winding down. love the guy, but hes a liability anymore.

Got a question...

With our first round pick, do we take the best safety on the board or do we take the best linebacker on the board?

I could rationalize either one, we probably all could. I think a lot depends on how Harrison holds up this year. If he stays healthy the rest of the way out then maybe you go OLB in the 2nd round and Safety in the first. Either way top priority should be both of these positions.

You certainly don't give up on Woodley just yet having that hamstring injury again, he's too young. It doesn't make it any less irritating though that he's down again.

Troy may come back this season...It is hard to see him hurt every game though...I really think ( and I'm no expert) that Harrison r'seplacement is a top priority more than Troy's replacement...

We can trade Wallace and get an OLB...

Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley, who was plagued by hamstring issues in 2011, left Sunday’s game against the Steelers with a hamstring injury.

Per a league source, Woodley is day-to-day.* The injury is not believed to be serious.

Woodley missed six games in 2011.

The Steelers have only three days off before facing the Titans on Thursday Night Football.* Then again, given the way the Titans are playing, the Steelers probably could win the game with their second string at every position.

Let's hope it stays that way, but remember last year after he hurt that hamstring against the Pats, he was listed as day to day and ended up missing 6 weeks.

Hopefully this one doesn't last anywhere near that long, and fortunately it's not the same leg.

Troy may be done... He probably needs a surgery but is trying to heal it naturally and it is not working.

Can we find a S in any other league or FA that is better than Mundy and Allen?? Like find one now?

Can't we get someone to sneak into his home and shoot him up with some damn steroids? All that homeopathic crap needs to be thrown out. Come on Steelers, you are paying him huge $$, tell him to get with the program or he is cut.

Disclaimer: Troy has been my favorite player for years.
