All kidding aside as most of us couldn't stand BA for one reason or another. Hopefully Pagano makes a quick and full recovery. In the mean time our favorite OC is now the temporary head coach in Indy.

The Indianapolis Star reports that Pagano had been feeling fatigued and got blood tests during the bye week, when the illness was diagnosed. The Colts have planned a press conference for this morning at which they will give more details on his medical condition.

Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians will take over as interim head coach while Pagano is out.

Pagano, who will turn 52 on Tuesday, is in his first year as the Colts’ head coach. A Colts official told the Indianapolis Star that while Pagano’s health issue is a concern, the team is optimistic that he will recover.

UPDATE 9:09 a.m. ET: ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports that Pagano has been diagnosed with leukemia. Doctors have told him he will be hospitalized for six weeks but that he will make a full recovery and return to coaching.

Best wishes for a quick and total recovery. Good luck BA.

On another ex-Steeler coach subject. Wiz is having a great start to the season. Maybe he'll be coach of the year.

I wish Whiz would have gotten the HC job here. I felt that way before Tomlin even got hired. It doesnt matter though, Tomlin is doing fine. I think Whiz is doing a great job out in ARI. Who knows maybe one day he will coach us again in the HC position.

I thought leukemia was more serious, I guess whatever kind/area of his body it's in is not life threatening.

There are several types of leukemia; some downright nasty and others treatable.

Agreed, I think BA will hold his own as Interim Head Coach.

Whiz didn't get the job because wiz felt he was owed something and Tomlin is a better coach anyway.I'm sorry Pagano has cancer but i don't care about Arians.

Yeah there are indeed multiple types, apparently his is very treatable which is great news. As for BA, he's also a cancer survivor so this one hits home for him I'm sure.
