From that list the Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee will choose 25 candidates who will advance as semifinalist nominees. That semifinalist list will be further reduced by a mail ballot to 15 modern-era finalists. The Class of 2013 will be selected from the list of the 15 modern-era finalists plus the two senior nominees, Curley Culp and Dave Robinson, who were selected last month by the Hall of Fame’s Senior Selection Committee.

The actual voting for the Class of 2013 will be conducted at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee’s annual meeting, which will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 the day before Super Bowl XLVII at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La. The election results will be announced at a live announcement show immediately following the meeting.

While there is no set number for any class of enshrinees, the selection process by-laws provide that between four and seven new members will be selected.

It took Dermonti Dawson several years to get in elected (2012) so don't hold your breath on Jeff Hartings. Bus is another story. Cower deserves to get in too, though there is at least one coach who won 2 Superbowls who is not in.

Last year was tough for Bettis, you have to be pretty special to get in your first year of eligibility. Even as much as we all love him it was a long shot. I think he has a real good chance this year; honestly Art Jr has a good shot too.

I always pull for Gary Anderson!

If Bettis doesn't get in, but Warren Sapp does, how much rage will there be over Pittsburgh?

Bettis for sure, dude was damn good but never got the benefit of the coubt because he was your "different" type back. He was #5 rusher alltime when he retired right? Correct me if Im wrong please.
