Ok you get 4 names (faces) who would you put on a Pittsburgh Steelers Mt. Rushmore?

I say: Chief, Noll, Terry and Lambert.

Whats your opinion?

Art Rooney, Chuck Noll, Mean Joe Greene, Lambert

Reason I went with Mean Joe is he was Noll's first draft pick and the blue print to end 40 years of losing for the Steelers......

(player only)
Joe Green, Jack Lambert, (old school) Hines Ward, Jerome Bettis (new school)
would have loved to but Rod Woodson, what he played for the Ravens (disqualified)

management:
Art Rooney, Chuck Noll,

The Chief definitely, without him there is no Steelers.

After that it's extremely difficult. You want to go old school because those guys from the 70's started the dynasty but there are also some names too in the modern era that are worthy; Bettis, Roethlisberger, Ward.

For now I'll go with:

The Chief
Chuck Noll
Mean Joe
Jack Lambert

Honorable mention, or Mt Rushmore 2.0 would be: Bradshaw, Roethlisberger, Lambert, Ward - kinda gives a nod to the old school and new school.

Greene, Bradshaw, Harris, Ham

Noll wouldn't want this honor and would tell you the players deserve the honor ...

Ditto Rooney ...

Ham deserves far more consideration for his role on our defense ... Ham was virtually perfect as a player ...

Anyhow if you are going just players I would pick two players on the opposite side of the ball from the 70's and current Champions. I'd go with Bradshaw, Greene- Hines , Troy

It's just too hard to pick 4 names. The Steelers have had more than 4 good players worthy of that honor at any given time since the 70's so picking just 4 is darn near impossible.

Candidates for me though are The Chief, Lambert, Mean Joe, Bradshaw, Roethlisberger, Ward, Franco, LC Greenwood.

A few more to throw out would be Mel Blount, Mike Webster, John Stallworth (sorry Swannee), and Greg Lloyd. They should make Mount #3.

It would have to be Mean Joe Greene,Ernie Holmes,L.C. Greenwood, and Dwight White these 4 very special players dominated the game/70's like no other front four ever...

Jack "Dobre Shunka" Ham put on a tackling clinic every Sunday.......technically the best I've ever seen.
