According to his agent Ralph Cindrich on a radio interview on 93.7 the Fan, Farrior is in talks with the Steelers about formally retiring as a Steeler.

Press conference will be called when all the arrangements are worked out.

I would love to see Potsie go out in the black n gold. Hopefully it gets worked out.

Did Hoke ask as well or do the Steelers decide who gets a ceremony?I relize he probably waited to see if Arizona or the Ravens would call but once he announces his retirement does he have to ask for a ceremony?

Hoke's "Hokey Pokey" dance will be sorely missed at training camp this summer ... that dance was a decade-long camp tradition during Saturday pre-drill stretch on the first Saturday of camp each summer ...

Hokie retired from the NFL while he wasn't technically still a Steeler. They gave him a presser too though.

Read also today that Farrior agent said they are looking at retirement but also waiting to see if an opportunity presents itself for James to sign with a championship caliber team. If it does, like the Patriots for example, he would consider signing with them.
