"Evan Silva of Rotoworld.com believes the best the Rams will likely be able to get in return for Jackson is a 4th round pick"
or can we trade Mike Wallass for him, bide sometime for taking RB in the draft, focus on other needs, Jackson has 2 to 3 good years left in him I think, ok now hammer away at me!

Steven Jackson salary is 7 million this year and another 7 million in 2013. Ain't happening.

why trade for a RB on his way down and out of the league...just saying he's hitting that age where RB start to decline. don't wanna look like the jets trading for washed up players on their decline

If we get a top LT... Wallace will be needed. Ben will have 3 seconds longer to pass. Possibly add a second for the Haley Factor also.

Saw this come through on our twitter a few minutes ago too. No need to trade for an aging RB, just doesn't make any sense even if they did have the cap room to bring him in. I wouldn't rule out a back being drafted today or tomorrow but trading for Jackson wouldn't make much sense to me.

Hes a Rolling Fire Hydrant

Robert Turbin 5-10 Weight: 222
40 Time: 4.50 40 Low: 4.40 40 High: 4.60

Turbin uses his strong arms and good leg drive to plow through defenders. He's hardly just a power runner, however, possessing surprising agility and acceleration for such a powerful back. Turbin rushed for 3,315 yards and 40 touchdowns over his Aggie career. He's also a reliable receiver out of the backfield, having caught 67 passes for 845 yards and 11 more scores and is among the stouter pass blockers of this year's running back class.

Why on God's green earth would you want him to hang onto the ball longer?

Fix the offensive line and any RB looks like an all pro.

get that line solid and everything changes. if we get another solid lineman this draft i'll have very high hopes for this year.

This makes no sense with Redman, Clay, Dwyer, Mendenhall eventually, Batch, and possibly Peade, Turbin or James.....with the salary problem also......I am not giving this idea a second thought.

Turbin is a beast.

This is the guy I would love to see in Steelers Black and Steelers Gold!

If they were interested in Jackson, trading Wallace wouldn't be a fair trade by any stretch even if they could do it.

IF we draft a RB i wouldnt be surprised if we drafted Pead or LeMichael to compliment Redman

A rotation of Redman and Turbin coming thru Decastro Pouncey and Colon with add in a FB/TE blocker once in a while would be punishing...

Jackson, HELL NO!

This team has something up their sleeve at RB, I betcha! And it doesn't involve Mendy, just say'n!

Yeah we should trade a WR in his prime for a RB making 7 million and on the downside of his career. That's pretty smart.

I'd rather the Steelers draft Lamar Miller. Jackson makes too much money and is closer to his decline, then his prime.
