Coming off of his surgery I thought he might get some looks as a reserve utility lineman, especially since they wouldn't have to really give up anything to get him.

Legs is a nice back up. Did a good job filling in for Pouncey two years ago. Glad he signed, but hope he stays in a back up role.

My thoughts exactly, solid backup, not a quality starter, he can back-up at guard and center

OL continuity is a plus, even if he is a backup. Essex, Legursky both come back.

I like the signing. Very versatile back-up that can start a few games here and there at a few different positions. And I love when he is used at FB!

I'd like to see him used at FB more often too. They did that with Starks a couple times early in his career, as well as using him in a jumbo short yardage setup as an extra blocker on the line.
