View Full Version : How about Plaxico, any takers Steeler fans?

Seems to be quite a hot topic, Plax coming back to Pittsburgh next season for say maybe a 2 yr. deal? What do you guys think, would you want him back?

Personally I'd rather get Cotchery signed to a 3 yr. deal (that seems to be the norm) before I'd want Plax back. In the redzone he (Plax) would be money though and he wouldn't cost a fortune to bring in either.

I'd probably pass on Plax just based on his history and I would be surprised if the Steelers even gave him a serious look this offseason.

Rather sign Cotch to a 3 year deal. No drama, no selfishness, just a guy who wants to play and help a team win.

I would bet if they ask Ben about it he'd be all for getting Plax back; they were pretty close when he was here. It would be nice to have some serious height in the redzone and down the sidelines besides Heath.

trade wallace for a 1st round pick (late obviously) and sign plax and cotchery both...neither would be expensive and we might have some extra cash to pick up a FA OL or cortland finnegan

Id take plax over cotchery. He has that height that you can't overlook

Plax is a douche, no thanks...

Cotch will give 100% on every play where Plax has and will take plays off. Plax is the poison apple - don't need him. Need a big guy in the red zone? We have him already and his name is HEATH FREAKIN MILLER!

Just Say No to Plax. Let the Eagles/Pigeons have him. As said above Cotchery is the better fit.

Ummm...Hell no!!!

Agreed. He hasn't changed. I want Cotchery and if you need a vet while you wait for Cotchery to sign then sign Lee Evans.

If they have any free agency money at all, it needs to be spent on the big needs. We all know what they are. WR isn't one of them.

I agree...he was interviewed this week on Philly talk radio. He thinks it would be great to play with Vick because of what they both went through. Let Philly have him.

I have to say no to Plax. I don't want the intangibles that he brings to the locker room.
