McCants is interesting to me .I haven't seen any tape on him but the discription and analysis of him is promising
I don't think Washington will be in the first round only cause there are 6 or 8 OG/C that grade out higher than him but you could be right

he could play all 5 positions though, no doubt in my mind he could fly up the boards like james carpenter did last year

Iirc, Carpenter had an outstanding workout both at his proday and at the combine, so I'm guessing Washington would have to have the same kind of showcase to get into the first. He could easily end up being a low to mid second rounder in my opinion. And I would not be angry if Steelers picked him in the second. I probably would if they did in the first, obviously depending on how the draft unfolded.

ALL THE DRAFT SITES HAVE HIM AS A 3-4 RD GUY

He struggled at tackle this year

you know what college tackles with his ability that struggle at tackle make? great pro guards.

im not using draft sites, im saying hes going to be a late riser. Cordy glenn struggled at LT this year too, no one is looking at him as a LT though

I think with BA retiring it is the #1 priority to fix the interior of the line we should go balls out for DeCastro

Yep......:yesnod: DeCastro would make me damn happy....Think he is going to be a top 15 pick......

Josh Chapman had surgery to repair an acl and torn meniscus. He will miss the NFL combine. He played the last 8 games with the injury so noone will question his toughness.but his absence from the combine may hurt his draft stock making him amid round pick

Then He should b there in the 2nd or 3rd round.

I think Poe in the first might look pretty tempting today, which leaves us someone to pick up on O line in the second. I know these guys will bounce around between now and draft but one of Osemele, Washington, Jones, Glenn or Zeitler will be around in the second.

Poe is sounding like the man!

I don't want to get too excited about a guy only to see him rise and be taken by another team, but I like Poe.

Question: Would the 4-3 teams be interested in him in the first?

He is not projected in top 15. The 3-4 teams in front of us are NYJ and SD.

43 teams will ceratinly be interested in him...realistically i expect him to be a top 15 pick easily and 43 teams will like him for his pass rushing skills. he really isnt a great NT prospect for a 34, i think he could grow into being a great player but hes not a very disciplined block holder that you would look for a 34 NT...he could be but right now hes very scheme versatile and imo the best DT in the draft

The Jets took Kendrick Ellis in the 3rd round last year .Poe isn't an 3-4 end i don't see them taking him in the first.I think we should snatch Burfict if he is there at 24 and take a guard in the 2nd round hopfully Brandon Washington is still on the board in the 2nd

I have a new Sleeper pick for Nose Tackle Andrew iupati younger brother of Mike Iupati played for oregon and when the coach left he transfered to Division 2 Humboldt st .He stands 6'1" 315

poe definitelt has the potential to be moved around the 34 line with his skill set and athletic ability.

kendrick ellis is heavy footed and slow off the snap and was facing possible jail time for aggrevated assault and possible deportation

I think you misunderstood someone said that the jets might take poe and i was saying they took ellis last year so i don't think they would draft a nose
