by Chuck Finder - Pro Bowl center Pouncey in doubt for Sunday (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/post/16737767)
C Maurkice Pouncey (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/player/1273188/maurkice-pouncey) (high ankle sprain) missed practice Thursday and could sit out Sunday’s game. He felt discomfort after limited participation Wednesday. “I don’t know what the turnout is going to be,” he said. G-C Doug Legursky (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/player/1616162/doug-legursky) would start in his place. Is offensive coordinator Bruce Arians worried? “Yeah, I am,” he said.

Harrison, Keisel notable absentees (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/post/16737742)
OLB James Harrison (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/player/303162/james-harrison) (toe) and DE Brett Keisel (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/player/302066/brett-keisel) (groin) Thursday missed a rare second consecutive practice day, raising questions about a 2011 defense that endured 10 different combinations. C Maurkice Pouncey (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/player/1273188/maurkice-pouncey) (ankle) and, as expected, RB Mewelde Moore (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/player/493016/mewelde-moore) (MCL) and CB Cortez Allen (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/player/1687456/cortez-allen) (shoulder) plus S Troy Polamalu (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/player/396174/troy-polamalu) (calf) also missed practice. Polamalu often practices Fridays only

Like a friggin M*A*S*H* unit. Thankfully it's Tebow and not Brady.

Should still be OK, and as long as big Juicy keeps his head about him, he will be fine playing LG next to LEGS on Sunday. Regarding the defense, again, thank God Steelers are playing Tebow and not Brady.

That sucks

The Steelers have been quiet about Harrison's injury, but I'd be shocked if he doesn't go. This is the playoffs, cut off that toe if you have too and get out there cuz there is no tomorrow.

Sit them all.... we will NOT need them to beat the Broncos... we will need them to beat the Ravens or the Pats next week. F it ,,, treat this as a bye week for these guys.Troy will take care of Tebow by himself.

Good question, I'd rather him healthy for the next game if we win this weekend.

Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey, who aggravated his injured left ankle against the Cleveland Browns and again in practice on Wednesday, will not play in Sunday’s wild-card playoff game in Denver, the Post-Gazette has been told.

It is the second postseason game in a row Pouncey will miss because of an injury to the same ankle. He did not play in Super Bowl XLV because of a high-ankle sprain.
The Steelers do not have to officially update Pouncey’s status until after practice today.

Guard Doug Legursky, who is returning after missing the previous game with a left shoulder separation, will start at center. Former starter Chris Kemoeatu will replace Legursky at left guard.

Well, with all the injuries, no matter how severe and the lack of points that have been put up on offense as of lately, the only way the Steelers continue to win, is if they will themselves to win. They are going to need heart and desire while playing error free football as a team unit. Now more than ever clearly defines playing and winning from a total team effort. They can't afford blown assignments or dumb penalties. Maybe a little inspiration from some of the Vets that may not be here next year like they did for Jerome Bettis in his farewell tour. Send them out as Champions!
